Canon EOS R5

For wildlife and portraits, I absolutely love the Canon EOS R5.

The Canon EOS R5 delivers amazing image quality and sharpness with truly astounding eye-tracking auto focus. I also use the add-on battery grip which not only helps me keep a better grip on the camera, it helps balance my larger lenses, and with the 2 batteries enables me to shoot for hours on end without replacing them.

For a general walk around lens, and occasional landscape or even street photography, I use the RF24-105mm f/4 L IS as it’s lightweight, and provides amazing image rendition for a “kit” lens. For portraits, as I shoot outdoors almost exclusively and like to include more scenery, I love the RF 50mm f/1.2L IS! The sharpness and bokeh are just superb!

For wildlife, I wanted something with reach but also wanted to save a little money, so I went with the EF 500mm f/4 L IS ii which is light, and works great with the EF adapter. I will admit though I do have my eye on the RF

FujiFilm GFX 100s

For landscape and macro, I use the Fujifilm GFX 100s.

The Fujifilm GFX 100s is truly an amazing camera. Of course there is the eponymous 100MP feature, but beyond just sheer megapixel count, the images have incredible tone and color, all with a wide dynamic range.
